Location: Leeds, UK (Office-Based)
Salary: £25,000 per annum
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week with occasional weekend or out-of-hours work for events
Start Date: December/January

About the role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and organised Digital Marketing Assistant to support our marketing team at our Leeds office. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys creating content and wants to gain hands-on experience in a creative, supportive environment.

This is a majority office-based role, with flexibility for occasional travel required. The post holder must have the ability to travel to multiple client sites and events across the region as and when required.

You’ll be working directly with the founder as part of a close-knit team of two, playing an integral role in shaping and growing the agency. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact and contribute to the business’s long-term success.

What you’ll be doing

  • Your main focus will be helping the team with content creation and day-to-day marketing tasks. This includes:

  • Assisting with the creation and editing of short-form videos using CapCut, Edits 

  • Designing graphics and visual content using tools like Canva

  • Helping to plan, schedule, and post content on social media (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook)

  • Attending local events or locations to capture photo/video content (travel required)

  • Supporting email campaigns, website updates, and blog content

  • Keeping content and calendars organised and up to date

  • Helping monitor performance and compile simple reports

  • Occasionally assisting at events that may take place on evenings or weekends

What we’re looking for

  • Leeds-based and able to work full-time from our office

  • Ability to travel to multiple client sites across the Region, either via public transport or in own car.

    • Highly proficient in spoken and written English for content creation, voice overs and communication with clients.

  • Confident using CapCut for editing short-form video content

  • Comfortable using Canva to create graphics and visuals

  • Familiar with key social media platforms (especially TikTok and Instagram)

  • Well-organised, reliable, and keen to learn

  • A friendly team player with a can-do attitude

  • Willingness to work occasional weekends or evenings for events

Nice to have (but not essential)

  • A degree in Marketing, Social Media, Communications, or a related field is preferred

  • Experience using scheduling tools like Meta Business Suite or TikTok studio

  • Basic knowledge of email tools 

  • An interest in photography or filming

  • Experience using Notion to plan or manage tasks/content

  • A basic understanding of SEO or analytics tools
